Glowing Green Flag Report

This award is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces. We were told back in July that we had maintained the Green Flag Community Award in 2023/24 but we have now had the detailed report and it is a sea of green! No concerns were raised.

The report said our signage was very good and that we had good standards of arboriculture maintenance. It concluded by saying that Pensford Field was a lovey little oasis with evidence in supporting local wildlife.

We already knew this but it is wonderful to have this confirmed by an external body with a strong reputation. We could not do this without all our volunteers.
