Gardening for Wildlife

Katrina Roche will set out to show that your garden doesn’t have to be a wilderness in order to be a haven for wildlife. She’ll detail the key components for a wildlife friendly garden, and argue this isn’t merely a trend, but that it’s vital that we all take steps to maintain and hopefully increase the biodiversity in our gardens. 

Katrina is a freelance garden writer, writing a blog, weedsrootsleaves.com which was shortlisted for Blog of the Year in the 2021 Garden Media Guild Awards. She has also contributed articles to Garden Answers & content to gardening websites such as Love the Garden and Marshalls. When not writing, she is a local gardener, providing a seasonal maintenance and planting service.
